Our Programmes

We were established in 2019 to develop and implement an action plan of improvements which were aligned with Scottish Government policies and the Construction Scotland Industry Strategy.

When the pandemic hit in March 2020, our focus turned to the development and implementation of a Construction Recovery Plan.

The Plan established a shared view across the sector of the short, medium and long-term responses that would support the industry in helping build a stronger, fairer, and greener economic future for Scotland.

From that work, we developed a Construction Accord to create, amongst other things, more thriving businesses, enhance working conditions for employees, improve the delivery of construction quality and become a net zero industry.

And to deliver the Accord, a Transformation Action Plan was created to deliver on the commitments in the Accord with actions being taken forward by 11 working groups.
